Sean Ogs
Well done to the coaches and players who hosted the latest U7 blitz. With visiting teams from Monaghan Harps, Emyvale and Clontibret there was huge excitement for the youngsters and parents as some were representing their club for the first time.
Robo Wash Sponsorship
The club would like to thank Stephen McElvaney from Robo Wash who has become the sponsor for the Sean Ogs Academy. Stephen presented the U7’s and U9’s with jerseys which were worn at the latest blitz. Local sponsorship is invaluable and we thank Robo Wash on their generosity.
Juveniles
The U15’s entertained Tyholland in round three of the league campaign. In a tight tussle both teams wrestled for the lead in first half and exchanged some fine scores. With only a point separating them at half time , the home team started the stronger and secured early scores in the second period which kept them in front until the final whistle. Next up is an away trip to Oram.
Our U13’s journeyed to Cremartin for their latest league game. In a match which began very tightly , our lads battled hard against the strong opposition. Cremartin took some excellent long range scores and continued to capitalise on our laboured game. The home side proofed to be just too strong and ran out winners in the end. A tough evening but they will regroup and take on Eire Og next at home.
The U11’s had a meeting with Killeevan , at home, on Saturday. This was highly entertaining affair with some excellent skills on show from both sides. All players got their opportunity to shine and coupled with the good weather, it was a very enjoyable contest.
