Senior Men The senior mens reserve team travelled to Ballybay for round 2 of the league. In difficult conditions, they gave a good account of themselves in the first half. However, playing against the gale force wind in the second period was just too much and they succumbed to strong pressure, ending in their second defeat of the campaign.
Senior Ladies The senior ladies had their opening game away to Clones on Sunday. This was the home teams first competitive fixture in 18 years. It was a thrilling match in the iconic surroundings of St Tiarnach’s Park, where our Ladies gave it their all. We saw an exciting finish as the Clones Ladies ran out winners on a scoreline of Clones 5-8, Sean McDermotts 2-10.
