Another week and another Bingo where we paid out almost €6000 in prizes. Our bonus number was won, and this now starts again at €200 next week. The main jackpot moves on to €10900 with no winner this week, and all other jackpots are back in place. Senior Men Junior League
Our senior men kicked off the league with a great away win in Currin last Sunday. The home side took an early lead with the wind advantage, but the lads hit back before the break with a goal and a point to nose themselves in front by one. The wind, for the second half, was at our backs and we progressed well with another two goals. Currin never gave in to the scoreline and kept tipping over points, however, the gap didn’t narrow quickly enough and we finished with a six point victory. Well done to all and with a good mix of youth and experience we would hope the confidence will now start to build.

Our Ladies hosted Inniskeen on Sunday for round two of the league. It would be the tale of two halves as we took a commanding lead in the first period by taking full advantage of the windy conditions. However, Inniskeen took control for the second half and converted their chances much better. The visitors managed to push in front by two and close out the win. It’s back to the drawing board and the hunt for our first win.

Minor Boys
On Tuesday last St. Patricks were the visitors for the second game of the Division Two League. Our boys have been ravaged by injury in recent weeks, and this was an uphill struggle despite some good scores early on. St.Pats established a strong lead and never relinquished it. This league has been tough for the lads so far, but they will continue to persevere and hopefully have players returning from injury shortly.

Our Rock McDermotts team continues to dominate their league campaign. They secured their second win with a home tie against O’Neill Emeralds. On a night of plenty dismissals, the team closed out a win and sit well on top of the league.

11am in the Club Complex on Easter Sunday is the place to be, where all the super indulgences will be available at our annual cake sale. This is always a great display of our local talented bakers selling their produce. Please support the event with all funds raised going to the running of the club.
