AGM
Our 2024 AGM took place on Sunday in the Club Complex with a strong attendance. Our secretary, Shauna Hagan, gave her inaugural report to the membership. She outlined, in a very comprehensive review, all the highs and lows of the past year over all club activities. Our out going treasurer, Ashley Maguire, set out the club accounts which gave great detail of all revenue and expenditure in 2024. As Ashley was stepping down for 2025, he was highly complimented on his work over his term in the position. Our Chairperson, Brian McPhillips then addressed the members and outlined his appreciation for all the people involved, in any way , making the Club a Club for everyone. He sincerely thanked Ashley Maguire for his contribution and also Stephen Kelly, who has been steering the development committee for the last few years, and is also stepping down and he too was praised for the tireless work during his term. All aspects of the club were spoken about and the hopes and plans for the coming year. He was happy to announce two new honorary members to the club in Hughie McElvaney and Cormac Connolly. This was in recognition of their contribution over many years. Finally, he confirmed that Barry Kieran had been nominated for the position of Treasurer, and he was happy to take up the role for 2025. The executive committee is as follow for the coming year, Chairperson, Brian McPhillips, Vice Chair, Patrick Kieran, Secretary Shauna Hagan, Assistant Secretary, Conor McElvaney, Treasurer, Barry Kieran, Assistant Treasurer, Mary McConnon, PRO, Adrian Forde, Club Registrar, Roisin McGuirk, Cultural Officer, Collette McNelis, Executive Members, Paraic McGuirk, Peter Sherry, Anita Hughes, Stephen Connolly, Alan Treanor, Olga Connolly, Seannie Larkin, Mickey McNelis, Michelle Boyle, and Kelsy Maguire. Our AGM concluded with Brian wishing everybody a happy Christmas and a Safe New year.

Hard luck to our Ballad Group who competed the Ulster Final, in Silverbridge last weekend. They had a super performance on the today but unfortunately were pipped to the post for first place. We must congratulate them on getting to this stage and thank the girls and their mentors for their huge commitment during the year.
